Core assessment
In the trailer for the movie I've picked, Black Panther, there are many different effects and editing methods, such as washes, fades, blackouts, and fades, making it difficult to discern whether it is the start, middle, or finish of the scene. Using non-continuity editing has the effect of keeping viewers guessing, which keeps them more interested in the trailer and encourages them to watch it more. At (0:06), a fade-to-black transition was used to signify the end of one scene and the start of another. This trailer made use of certain rapid cuts, which are frequently utilised to add intensity to action situations. All through this, They are utilised in trailers due to their varied motions. This moment raises the audience's anticipation and tension as they wait to see what will happen next. The violent action scene in the trailer was shown from a closer vantage point using a technique known as cutting.
Using a fade to introduce viewers to a new perspective in the space rather than a rapid cut that would lessen the sense of discovery (0:10). (0:25) it's displayed how the scene blacked out so quickly it shows that more dark and deep effects to the audience. The use of cut-in methods at point (0:45) to show the fight from a closer POV as well as the suggestion that it be utilised back and forth between several scenes gives the idea that the action is taking place in many places while unfolding simultaneously. Once more, fading was employed to imply that a sad event would happen. in this part they deepen the scene by using slow motion because a fire was raging in the background (1:21). Since women are not often portrayed as courageous, strong, or fighters, but rather as weak, vulnerable, and passive people, they are used as countertypes by the troops, which is unusual because typically, it is men who should demonstrate greater resilience and strength. serves to show through its face expressions what the protagonists were seeking to the spectator. and nonverbal cues In the end, I think there are a lot of helpful editing approaches that truly capture this more unusual proposition, (1:51) at the ending the editor used a tatting movement to show the main character suit so that it could make the audience more venerable & curious
In the trailer for the movie I've picked, Power book Force, there are many different effects and editing methods, This technique was effectively employed by the promo's designer to depict several incidents in the life of the lead character, Tommy, a drug dealer trying to own Chicago. I believe the editors did a fantastic job because I know they wanted the audience to be a little on edge and curious about what would happen to the main character Tommy how he's going to win Chicago, what his next move and how he's coping for his family he just lost especially his best friend Ghost, by creating that suspense and tension.
This television advertisement uses several single shots and transitions. I think this is true because it starts slowly before picking up speed in the middle and because the TV show is playing as the shots are being taken. Because there are so many things going on in so many different areas, the effect of using it keeps the audience engaged and never bored. I think the editor could have used fades and effects to make the audience more interested in what was about to happen and to make it more thrilling.
0:37 i can see how the editor added some fades in that particular scene
also im seeing that the editor added 0:57-1:01 as a reaction shot for the audience.
1:06 we could see a match on action edit shot of how their reavealing the main character goal and personality, 1:22 we could see some quick cuts effects between a ciggarette and an explosive car which really shows alot more intrest to most people 1:33-1:36 as we could there more quick cuts of diffrents intrestings scene combined into 1 quick scene for 1:37 the editor added an eyeline match to show the character looking dead to the other main character eye.
Nike used wide-angle and close-up shots to suggest that there are several well-known individuals in this football advertisement to prove to the audience that they are the best of the best . 0:28 i could see that the editor added abit of slow motion of the main character ball controllment. This is advantageous since many football fans who idolise these players may feel inspired to purchase the firms' products as a result of the use of numerous famous footballers in this campaign.0:32 i just witnessed that an Eye-lined match was added in the scene where one of the opponent was watching the other player recieving the ball. 0:39 again we see another slow motion of one of the player passing through his rivals defence. 1:28 showing a reaction shot of the audiuence getting upset over a missed goal. The usage of a wide angle, particularly at the beginning of this advertisement, is advantageous because it would showcase all of the players on the field and demonstrate that they are both aiming for victory given that sport is often depicted as a battle. (1.47) Match on action
Near the end of the commercial, we get a close-up of a person glancing at the throng, followed by a bird's-eye perspective of the whole crowd. The change in perspective from close-up to bird's-eye indicates how significant the game is to these players. The fact that football is now regarded on a global scale may further indicate how important a game it is. A humorous impact is produced by the usage of two shots at minute 1:33. This is advantageous since the majority audience members are between the ages of 15 and 25, which allows them to benefit from humour.
2.20- another reaction shot of the player getting hit by the ball on the face
and everyone making a huge commotion about it. 2.35 i could see that the editor added a graphic match of the goal keaper turning into hulk comparing its personality and also creating more reaction shots and bit of freeze 2:33. 2:59 there some quick cuts through difrent location and settings even with people reacting to the match.
3:31-3:38 i see some slow motion, reaction shots & 180 degree shot both combined i feel like the editor wanted to create more tension for the watches which will be good advantage to prove how nike is much more relevent to football.

SEQUENCE VIDEO
I had to select 4 scenarios for my continuity sequence, which I had to shoot and edit. I went with the scenario, "A person gets ready and leaves their house. I chose this situation because I believed I would feel at ease recording it and since that is what I would typically do to go out. This prompted me to add additional images and viewpoints. Editing strategies such as the long mid shot, reaction shot, and match-on action were used.
I performed a match on action and zooming to depict a separate area of Viktoras recieving an anymonuse phone call and aswering it. Technical difficulties prevented me from such as Viktoras playing on his PS4; instead, I substituted the laptop which changed from my shot list . But, I did add a quick shot of Vicktoras gathering the shoes while wearing the d hat. To highlight the varied perspective of Victoras heading towards the door handle while attempting to exit, I imported a shot in reverse. Even though it was challenging to film, the match on action in this scene was fluid, and it especially looked well when I combined a close up with match on action. The pasting and timing of the video are two significant things I would tweak in my sequence to make it even better.

Shot list
I had to choose a scenario, shoot it, and then edit it for my non-continuity sequence. I go with "an opening introduction for a professional product advertisement. The situation involved two guys identifying themselves as models and showcasing their image for a business (Canada goose). Using several edits, including straight cuts, wipes, 30-degree rules, and slow motion, I tried to make it appear as extravagant as possible to attract viewers, especially those who would purchase the company's items. To make the product easy to observe for the viewer, I had to use a lot of close-ups. I was capable of using slow motion while two of the models were walking together.
I was able to convey the effect I desired thanks to the slow motion and the 360-degree package view that reveals the brand jacket's fur. Jump cuts were a separate approach I employed, in which I displayed the item from several angles while switching between them. To show the audience it's not only a brand but a secret that would even inspire them more, I chose to combine portions of posters from the brand and their inspiring words because I didn't have many shots for my video.
